Megan is a retired dance teacher & studio owner of thirteen years. She grew up dancing, cheering, and acting her entire life.

Megan danced with the Georgia Force and Atlanta Falcons. During her time with AFL and NFL teams, she had many opportunities to dance with well-known musical artists, appear in advertisements and commercials, compete on America’s Got Talent, represent the Falcons through their USO show troupe, and make many news-related appearances.

Megan has always enjoyed creative writing, adjudicating dance competitions, choreography,  and performing.

After becoming a mom, Megan decided to retire from full-time performance directing and spend more time at home.

Rosie Finds Her Shine is Megan’s first self-published work derived from a show her dance studio performed in 2011. The book debuted in the Fall of 2021 and has received stellar reviews and three book awards: The Purple Dragonfly Silver Medal, Creative Child Awards Book of the Year 2022, and Mom’s Choice Award Gold Medal.

Megan’s book holds significant meaning, as her first book is dedicated to her late mother, Amy. Amy passed in 2020 as a result of a terrible autoimmune disease and an ongoing aggressive battle with cancer.


Megan married her high school sweetheart, and they have three wild children together! She is still active in the dance choreography but, for now, spends time homeschooling and handling their farm animals. Future plans for Rosie the Reindeer include turning her into a series, appearing in the Macy’s Day Parade with her character, and introducing the world to the newest staple Christmas character!
